Several events were held during the six-day festival. During the first few days and evenings, artists painted at various sites throughout the broader Tidewater community. The area is diverse and beautiful and paintings often include seascapes, cityscapes, gardens, architecture, and favorite landmarks, among other subjects. The event culminated with a Collector's Party where patrons have the first opportunity to purchase art. This wass followed by a Public Art Show and Sale.
Funds raised are used to support public art and art education for the community.
