Two Artists Workshops with Zufar Bikbov and Vlad Duchev
You are invited to study with the extraordinary fine artists, Zufar Bikbov and Vlad Duchev, this January during two fascinating workshops to be held at the Norfolk Botanical Gardens in Norfolk, Virginia.
Zufar and Vlad recently participated in the heralded Easton Plein Air Event over the summer and are considered superstars in the art world. The artists are outstanding in both plein air and studio painting arenas and they are excited to share their painting techniques with you. Zufar will lead the two workshops with Vlad providing on-the-spot individual coaching during painting sessions. The workshops are recommended for artists who are familiar with painting. Day 1. Afternoon:
Painting along with Zufar and his demo: "Nightfall with Rising Moon".
Analysis of today's works.
Day 2 Morning:
Demos of quick deep night scenes with moon and moonlight.
Secrets of underpainting. values and colors of nocturnes.
Day 2 Afternoon:
Painting along with Zufar and his demo: scene with moon and its reflection in a river.
Analysis of workshop works and results.
Workshop #2: “Composition and Harmony of Colors in Fall Landscape”

Secrets of compositions of scenery with autumn colors. Two quick demos.
Day 1. Afternoon:
Learn how to paint two layers in your landscape painting. Paint along with Zufar as he demos a rural fall scene.
Analysis of today's works.
Day 2 Morning:
Discover Zufar's hybrid painting style: Plein Air + Studio during this plein air work simulation demo.
Day 2 Afternoon:
Paint along with Zufar during a second demo, with a Fall in-town scene.
Analysis of workshop works and results.
